Thought for the day....
TRY SOMETHING NEW
Most often we end up in ruts because we are unaware.
We do the same things so many times that pretty soon; we can do them without thinking about them. After driving the same way
to work day after day, we leave our houses and “come to “when we arrive. It feels as if our cars get there on
there own. We can bring ourselves out of a rut by encouraging ourselves to be
aware. One good way to become more alert is to try something new. We have to concentrate more when doing something new. Because
we are learning, we have to pay more attention to what we are doing. Today, we can learn a new recipe, enroll in a class,
or take a new route to work, anything to awaken us to the choices we make. We can have fun with our new learning and invite
friends and family to participate. Not only will we pull ourselves out of a rut, but we’ll have a unique way to spend
quality time with the people we love, which in itself might be something new.
